Sarj Gosal - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Sarj Gosal is a BC lawyer with over 31 years of experience specializing in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. He was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and obtained a Bachelors in Political Science (May 1988) and a Law Degree (LLB, May 1992) from the University of British Columbia. He was called to the Bar in May 1993.
Mr. Gosal has successfully represented a large number of disabled workers (over 5,000) and has extensive experience dealing with WorkSafeBC claims and appeals.
Mr. Gosal has been qualified (and provided oral evidence) as an expert regarding workers’ compensation matters in the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Kali Larsen - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Kali Larsen is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal
& Company. She specializes in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Political Science from the University of Victoria in 2015 and obtained her law degree (JD) from Queen’s University in 2018. She was called to the Bar in 2019.
Prior to joining Gosal & Company, Kali completed her articles at a litigation focused employment, immigration, and human rights law firm in Toronto and practiced immigration law in Vancouver.

Kate Elperin - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Kate Elperin is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company. She specializes in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (2013) and a law degree (JD, 2019) from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Bar in 2020.
Prior to joining Gosal & Company, Kate volunteered with the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, where she represented clients in small claims and criminal trials. She completed her articles at a full-service global law firm in Vancouver, with a focus on administrative and employment law.

Manbeen Saini - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Manbeen Saini is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company. She specializes in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. She has helped resolve all types of legal disputes and uses her knowledge and experience to educate, counsel, and empower her clients.

Pavin Bura - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Pavin Bura is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company. She specializes in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology (BA, 2019) and a law degree (JD, 2022) from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the Bar in 2023.
Prior to joining Gosal & Company, Pavin volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, where she provided assistance with criminal law and immigration issues. During law school, Pavin was a Student Ambassador and President of the South Asian Law Students Association. Pavin articled at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (“ICBC”), where she obtained experience with ICBC’s litigation and corporate law departments. She has courtroom experience in civil litigation, insurance law, and family law. Pavin enjoys guiding clients as they navigate WorkSafeBC processes by ensuring they have the information they need to understand their options and a clear path forward.

Corrigan Goodwin - WorkSafeBC Lawyer
Corrigan is an Associate Lawyer at Gosal & Company. She specializes in WorkSafeBC claims and appeals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English (2015), a law degree (LLB, 2022) from the University of Leicester and a Master of Laws from the University of British Columbia (2023). She was called to the Bar in 2025.
Prior to joining Gosal & Company, Corrigan volunteered with the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program where she assisted clients with immigration and small claims matters. She also volunteered with the UBC branch of Pro Bono Students Canada, and the University of Leicester Pro Bono Society Street Law Project where she assisted with research for community legal education initiatives. She completed her articles at a Gosal & Company.

Noreen Torrijos - Operations/Office Manager
Noreen is the Operations/Office Manager at Gosal & Company and has been an integral member of the firm for several years. Noreen is knowledgeable about the WorkSafeBC claims and appeals process and has formed and maintained many valuable contacts and relationships with individuals at WorkSafeBC, the Review Division, WCAT, and third-party providers on behalf of our clients.
Noreen works closely with, and is a key resource for, our legal team and oversees most aspects of our administrative team. Noreen also works closely with the principals of Gosal & Company in managing the human resources, overseeing the training of staff, and overall office operations of the firm.

Nimit Kaler - Administrative Supervisor
Nimit is the Administrative Supervisor and Social Media Manager at Gosal & Company. Nimit works closely with the administrative team on the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Nimit likes to kickstart the day with a morning meeting and always comes prepared with a joke (highly influenced by Michael Scott). In her downtime, Nimit enjoys watching anime, weight training, and trying new foods.
